Google Chromecast HDMI Streaming Media Player

My findings: Chromecast can be put to some good use and I have in fact done just that during a vacation that started on 'day two' of our Chromecast experience and I am currently using it in our living room, plugged into one of our main receiver's HDMI port. The way it is supported now by third parties, I don't believe that it's going to immediately displace or replace the Roku, Apple TV, Google TV, Blu-ray players with streaming capabilities and so forth but there are times and situations when you don't have access to any of the above and then the little Chromecast dongle proves itself useful. Besides, the price is low enough to get one and keep in as a backup, just in case or just to play with it. In addition, there are some very interesting capabilities that, if further developed (see my experience with playing off a NAS device) could turn the Chromecast into a revolutionary solution overtime.
